President & Chief Executive Officer
Matthew Wilson
Matthew is the Chief Executive Officer of Travelers Europe. He joined the company in 2012 as Chief Operations Officer. Appointed in 2015 as Chief Executive Officer, he has oversight of Travelers Syndicate Management (Syndicate 5000 at Lloyd’s); Travelers Insurance Company; and Travelers Insurance Designated Activity Company (DAC).

Gareth Hilton
Gareth is VP, Head of Distribution & Marketing Europe at Travelers, appointed in February 2025, having previously served as Head of Distribution Europe. He brings 26 years of extensive commercial leadership experience, including Chief Commercial Officer at British Engineering Services and Chairman at RSA across the UK and Europe.

Michael Lawton
Mike is Chief Operating Officer for Travelers Europe, with 10 years at the company and one year in the role. He leads Technology, Operations, Strategy, Planning & Execution, driving profitable growth and market relevance. Previously, he led the Retail, SME and Specialty underwriting businesses, delivering sustainable growth through specialist solutions.

Graham Taylor
Graham leads the Business Insurance Retail & SME function at Travelers Europe, overseeing multiple sector propositions. Since joining in February 2016, he has built broad property and casualty underwriting and management experience across multinational and UK markets. He manages the general property, casualty and motor portfolios across seven branches and four practices.

James Kerr
James is the Vice President of Bond & Specialty Europe at Travelers. He joined in 2015 and is responsible for the management, coordination and strategic direction for financial lines products including professional indemnity, cyber, management liability and financial institutions product lines.

Mark Clifford
Mark is the Active Underwriter for Travelers Syndicate 5000. He joined the company in 2005 as Deputy Ports & Terminals Underwriter, and in 2021 became Head of Marine overseeing seven planning lines before becoming Active Underwriter in 2024.

Ant is the London & SE Regional Distribution Manger. He joined the company in 2025 and leads the relationships for our key brokers based in the London & SE region.

Chloe is a Regional Distribution Manager, overseeing distribution in Scotland and Northern Ireland since 2024. Focusing on strengthening local broker partnerships and developing Travelers market presence.

With over 25 years’ experience and having spent the past 10 years in Distribution leadership. Lead Regional Distribution Managers across UK&I. Pan commercial distribution team working with brokers across both company and Lloyds of London product sets.

Kiran brings over 20 years’ insurance experience to her role as Regional Distribution Manager in the Midlands. She manages strategic broker relationships, driving growth and retention across all products, and works closely with Claims, Risk and Underwriting to deliver on our commitments.

With over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Martin joined Travelers Europe in 2023 as Broker Development Executive. He is responsible for establishing, developing and managing relationships between Travelers and our Network Broker Partners.

Shaun joined Travelers in 2024 and is the Distribution Manager for the North West, managing key broker partner relationships and driving growth across BI Retail, BSI and Specialty lines. He brings over 15 years of market experience across Manchester and Leeds.

Simon is a Business Development Executive in the Travelers Europe Distribution team, managing broker relationships across South East England, including Bravo South brokers. He joined Travelers in January 2021, bringing extensive experience from his career as a broker.

Stuart joined Travelers in October 2025 as the Regional Distribution Manager covering Wales, the South West and onto the South Coast. An experienced development manager of 15yrs, he is relishing the challenge to expand the Travelers brand and proposition in the region.

Frankie is Head of UK Regions for Business Insurance, leading mid-market Property & Casualty underwriting teams across the UK. She joined Travelers in 2001, spent 14 years as an Underwriter and later became Branch Manager for London and the UK. She is ACII qualified with a degree in Economics.
