That’s because we use our expertise, our network and our experience to deliver solutions that enable you to focus confidently on the next chapter of your story.
Our restless passion for better and a solid commitment to caring and genuine partnerships will ensure the best outcome for you and for our industry in general. It’s this approach that sets us apart and helps you reach higher and achieve more. By insuring your ambitions, we can make sure they keep on driving your business forward.
Ambition through Charity and Social Responsibility
At Travelers we are always looking to the future for ways to give back to the communities that we are part of, be that through charity work, sustainable practices or staff support. Our T5 committees encourage employees to be active and support causes they are passionate about. With groups covering charitable activity, environmental concerns, through to diversity and inclusion and more, there are plenty of ways for Travelers employees to champion causes they care about.
We are incredibly proud of individual contributions as well as company-wide commitments, and hope to imbue everything we do with our brand tenets:
Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
We are incredibly proud to announce that we are the first insurance company to achieve The Clear Company's Clear Assured Gold Award Status. This distinction is based on an evaluation of inclusive practices regarding finding, assessing & retaining talent.
Travelers Companies have pledged $5 million to assist families and communities affected by COVID-19 in North America, the UK and Ireland. $3.5 million of this is to charities that are providing essential services to address urgent, unmet needs, including emergency assistance for hourly workers, and food and shelter for vulnerable population.
It was Christine Williams, Managing General Counsel for Claim, who won the 2020 award for Insurance Lawyer of the Year at the Women in Insurance Awards.
Our sports and social committee have been busy finding ways to virtually connect and get energised during the pandemic, including encouraging employees to get involved with a 5 for 5 challenge. Employees ran 5K and donated £5 to their charity of choice, raising lots for good causes!
