Ambition through Charity and Social Responsibility
At Travelers we are always looking to the future for ways to give back to the communities that we are part of, be that through charity work, sustainable practices or staff support. Our T5 committees encourage employees to be active and support causes they are passionate about. With groups covering charitable activity, environmental concerns, through to diversity and inclusion and more, there are plenty of ways for Travelers employees to champion causes they care about.

Highlights
Travelers Europe was recently recognised in the "Inclusion and Diversity - Internal Programme" category at the 2020 National Insurance Awards. The Inclusion and Diversity category recognises organisations that champion awareness and develop creative initiatives to help build an inclusive culture.
Travelers Companies have pledged $5 million to assist families and communities affected by COVID-19 in North America, the UK and Ireland. $3.5 million of this is to charities that are providing essential services to address urgent, unmet needs, including emergency assistance for hourly workers, and food and shelter for vulnerable population.
We are incredibly proud of Teniola Tijani, Associate Underwriter, for winning Young Insurance Woman of the Year (Large Firms) in the 2020 Women in Insurance Awards.
It was Christine Williams, Managing General Counsel for Claim, who won the 2020 award for Insurance Lawyer of the Year at the Women in Insurance Awards.
Our sports and social committee have been busy finding ways to virtually connect and get energised during the pandemic, including encouraging employees to get involved with a 5 for 5 challenge. Employees ran 5K and donated £5 to their charity of choice, raising lots for good causes!
